TICKETS for V Festival 2013 featuring headliners Beyonce and Kings of Leon go on sale this Friday.

Day tickets and weekend camping passes for the popular music festival sponsored by Virgin Media go on general sale at 9am on March 1.

This year’s V Festival, held over the weekend of August 17-18, will be headlined by Crazy in Love singer Beyonce and rock royalty Kings of Leon.

The twin-site event takes place simultaneously across the county border down the A414 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, and at Weston Park in Staffordshire.

Weekend tickets with camping cost £185 plus a maximum booking fee of £10.95, while weekend tickets without camping are £160 plus a maximum booking fee of £10.15.

Day tickets cost £89, plus a maximum booking fee of £8.90.

Campervan passes are priced at £99 plus a maximum booking fee of £6.50.

V organisers advise festival-goers to only book tickets through official outlets.

As well as Jay-Z’s wife and former Destiny’s Child star Beyonce and Sex on Fire rockers Kings of Leon, the V Festival 2013 line-up also includes Emeli Sande, Stereophonics, The Script, Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Beady Eye, Two Door Cinema Club, The Courteeners, The Vaccines, Basement Jaxx, Fun., Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, Rita Ora, Olly Murs, Jason Mraz, Kendrick Lamar, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre, Of Monsters and Men, DJ Fresh Live, James Arthur and Maximo Park.
