V FESTIVAL 2012 will have a touch of the X Factor about it this year after Tulisa was added to the line-up.
The N-Dubz star and X Factor judge will make her V debut as a solo artist at this year’s festival.
She will join her N-Dubz bandmate Dappy on the bill of the Virgin Media sponsored festival, which takes place across the weekend of August 18-19 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex.
The chart-topping Young singer will join headliners The Stone Roses and The Killers and a veritable feast of musical talent, including Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 and Ed Sheeran.
The addition of Tulisa to the bill comes after the news that US folk singer Lissie will sadly no longer be appearing on the V Festival line-up.
Further announcements are expected in the upcoming weeks.
V Festival is now in its 17th year and was the first UK festival to operate over two days and swap line-ups overnight.
Artists who have performed over the years include The Killers, Kylie, Foo Fighters, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Oasis, Kings of Leon, Paul Weller, Pulp and Radiohead.
