AWARD-WINNING comedian and TV personality Harry Hill has announced an appearance in Hertfordshire for next year.
The creator of TV Burp on ITV1 will be appearing at Hertford Theatre on Wednesday, January 30.
Tickets for the big-collared comedian’s Harry Hill: Experiments in Entertainment show cost £20 and have already gone on sale from The Wash theatre’s box office.
Fans can expect the usual Harry Hill nonsense on stage.
There’s a section exclusively for Tongans, a chance to catch up on Harry’s Nan’s latest ailments, the legendary Stouffer the Cat and a debut solo stand-up spot by Gary, Harry’s son from his first marriage and recognisable for his role as Alan Sugar in Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
You can also expect expert-whistler-of-chart-hits grandson Sam and an all-singing, all-dancing finale. Oh, and maybe a giant sausage!
As star of hit show TV Burp, Harry firmly established himself in the Saturday night, prime-time television schedules, fronting a staggering 11 series of the show over a 10-year period.
One of the funniest programmes on TV, the show scooped three BAFTA awards, two British Comedy Awards and the coveted Rose D’Or Award at the Montreux International Television Festival.
TV Burp was Harry’s unique take on the week’s TV, featuring sketches, observational voiceovers and special guest appearances.
