Bruce Adams joins the Clark Tracey Trio at Herts Jazz Club, at Hawthorne Theatre, Campus West, on tonight (Sunday) from 7.30pm.

Noted for his astonishing range, Bruce swings harder than most. His musical partnership with Alan Barnes was one of the great pairings and widened his audience enough to make him a deserved poll winner over many years.

Bruce has often worked as a special guest soloist with both the Scottish Radio Orchestra and the BBC Big Band.

His long-running musical partnership with saxophonist Alan Barnes has produced many plaudits and acclaimed recordings.

Joining Bruce at Herts Jazz Club will be Clark Tracey on drums, Robin Aspland on piano and Arnie Somogyi on bass.

Due to refurbishment work at Campus West, the gig will be held in a more intimate space than normal, with a smaller capacity.

Advance tickets cost £3 students, £8 members, £10 concessions and £11 full. Walk-ups are £5 students, £9 members, £11 concessions and £13 full. Book online at www.hertsjazz.co.uk/currentseason.html
