Watford Palace Theatre is looking for 13 to 18-year-olds who attend a school in Hertfordshire to attend a two-hour workshop audition for the Hertfordshire County Youth Theatre’s production, Watership Down.

A total of 10 dates have been set across the county, including on Monday from 3.45pm to 5.45pm at John Henry Newman School in Stevenage as well as Barnwell School in the town next Thursday, June 21, from 4pm to 6pm.

There will also be another audition at Knights Templar School in Baldock from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, June 25.

James Williams, who will be directing Watership Down in a stage production based on the novel by Richard Adams, said: “If you’re a talented young actor wanting to get a feel for working in a professional theatre, this is a great opportunity to learn new skills and bring this gripping and moving adventure story to life on the Palace Theatre stage.”
