Entitled The Drama School that Fell into The Large Hadron Collider: The Search for the Theatrix Particle, it is a cosmic soup of scenes, adaptations, original writing, music and sketches on the big questions of time, space and the Universe.

Macbeth becomes a research scientist, CERN discovers the secret of acting, King Lear develops a selfish gene and Evolution takes place before the eyes of the audience.

It all happens in a real space-time continuum with a galaxy of home-grown performers aged from five to 18.

Performances featuring five to 14 year old students are in the Abbey Theatre, St Albans, at 7.30pm tonight (Thursday) and 3.30pm on Saturday.

Older students are performing in the theatre at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday) and on Saturday.

Tickets are available from Theatrix online at www.theatrix.co.uk, by emailing admin@theatrix.co.uk or telephone 01727 860217.
