The final hours of actress and Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe’s life will be stripped bare on stage in Welwyn Garden City.
Performed by Lizzie Wort, The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe can be seen on stage at the Hawthorne Theatre on Saturday, March 1.
From the acclaimed company that produced Austen’s Women, Female Gothic and I, Elizabeth, this play shows Monroe as we’ve never seen her before – alone in her bedroom, in dressing gown and slippers, no glitz, no glamour, no masks.
Overdosed on pills, the woman behind the Hollywood icon unravels her life in a stark confessional.
Tickets cost £11 standard and £9 Zebra Card.
