FORMER boxing champion Frank Bruno will be talking about his career in an evening of anecdotes and reminiscences at Harpenden Public Halls next Friday, September 14.

One of Britain’s best-loved sportsmen, Frank Bruno had long been the people’s favourite for his gallant attempts at the world title before finally winning the WBC World Heavyweight belt in 1995, beating Oliver McCall at Wembley.

His career also famously included fights against Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson.
