THE frontman of Welwyn Garden City indie-rock trio The Subways will be performing live in St Albans later this week.
Billy Lunn of The Subways will be appearing live at The Horn pub in St AlbansBilly Lunn has a special acoustic show pencilled in for The Horn on Wednesday night.
His appearance at the Victoria Street pub follows a string of solo dates at selected venues across the country in the run-up to Christmas, as well as turning on the WGC festive lights.
The Horn is one of the very first venues The Subways performed at, so it holds many fond memories for Billy.
He will be showcasing broken down versions of The Subways’ hits, which include Rock & Roll Queen, Oh Yeah and It’s A Party, along with the odd cover version thrown in for good measure.
Support comes from Hemel Hempstead-based acoustic act Cries Wolf.
Tickets cost £8 in advance and £10 on the night.
Doors open at 8.30pm.
