FRESH from his triumph as host of Channel 4’s critically acclaimed entertainment show The Last Leg, Australian funnyman Adam Hills will be appearing in Hertford next week.
After a limited two-week run at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, everyone’s favourite Antipodean comedian brings his highly-anticipated new show Happyism to the Hertford Theatre on Tuesday.
Adam will take to the stage for a first-class evening of comedy with the usual anecdotes and audience participation, all delivered in his refreshingly unique, laidback style.
The stand-up star has achieved international acclaim as one of the world’s best comics.
His combination of positive, uplifting comedy and rampant spontaneity has seen him receive numerous awards, glowing reviews and a legion of fans around the planet.
Adam Hills became a household name in the UK after his part in the London Paralympics Games, where he fronted the hugely successful The Last Leg for Channel 4, alongside Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.
Its success led to Adam hosting Channel 4’s alternative Christmas Day message – a first for an Australian.
Three times nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award, Adam’s solo shows are established highlights at the Adelaide Fringe, the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe.
All tickets for his Hertford appearance cost £16 and the show starts at 8pm.
