KING of the one-liners, Stewart Francis, will be bringing his killer brand of quick-fire comedy to St Albans tomorrow (Thursday) night.
The internationally acclaimed stand-up comedian, accomplished actor and writer returns to the Alban Arena with his critically acclaimed show after his sell-out performance last May.
Ever playful, the poster for his last tour had him peeking over the handlebars of a bike. That was for Tour De Francis.
His latest tour is called Outstanding In His Field.
He said: “The poster has me out standing in a field. See what I’ve done there? It’s visually pleasing and there is a pun in it.
“There’s no theme to the show whatsoever; it is what it is and the poster is cute and eye-catching and hopefully will help get bums on seats.”
The star of Mock The Week, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow and Live At The Apollo comes to St Albans after a very successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he won comedy channel Dave’s fifth annual best joke award.
Tickets for the show cost £17.50. Visit www.alban-arena.co.uk or call the Alban Arena box office on 01727 844488.
