As well as impersonating king of comedy Eric Morecambe up and down the country on a live tour, local funnyman Bob Golding featured on the small screen as the legendary comic at the weekend.

The St Albans based panto favourite played the former Harpenden resident in ITV’s Tommy Cooper biopic “Tommy Cooper: Not Like That, Like This”.

Bob featured alongside a starstudded cast in the two-hour long homage to one of England’s greatest entertainers, with Shameless’ David Threlfall in the lead role.

Also portraying famous faces of old in the show were Helen McCrory from the Harry Potter films and Salford comedian Jason Manford.
