Organisers have added another five bands to the Sonisphere Festival 2014 line-up for Knebworth House next month.
With less than two weeks to go until the arena gates open at Knebworth Park, Team Sonisphere bookers have added Demonic Resurrection, Centiment, The Struts, Scholars and Boy Jumps Ship to the three-day rock and metal event’s already crammed bill.
They join previously announced main Apollo Stage headliners The Prodigy, Iron Maiden and Metallica, and support acts such as Slayer, Limp Bizkit, Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Deftones, Dream Theater, Frank Turner, The Sisters of Mercy, Anthrax and HIM.
The international touring festival returns to the grounds of Knebworth House from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6.
This will be Sonisphere’s fourth UK show at the Hertfordshire stately home, but the first since 2011.

Of the line-up additions, Demonic Resurrection, India’s premier black metallers, were due to play Sonisphere in 2011, but visa problems scuppered their plans at the last minute.
The band said: “It’s very hard to express in words how overjoyed we are to be playing at Sonisphere.
“After our visas being rejected in 2011 we were unable to play the festival and we were gutted so it’s almost like everything coming full circle
“This couldn’t have come at a better time for us, our new album ‘The Demon King’ releases on July 13 and we’re stoked to debut material from it at the festival.
“The line-up for Sonisphere this year is outstanding and it’s definitely a honour to watch Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Dream Theater and Anthrax and the countless other bands.”
Centiment is the side project of InMe’s Dave McPherson, Greg McPherson and Gazz Marlow, alongside Neil Howard and Mark Shurety.
Having opened stadium shows for The Rolling Stones, swaggering rockers The Struts will kick things off in Bohemia on Sunday morning at Knebworth.
Scholars are a rock band from Hemel Hempstead who have supported the likes of Twin Atlantic, Pure Love and Hundred Reasons.
Boy Jumps Ship will bring their Biffy-inspired Brit rock to Knebworth’s Jäger stage.
