S*M*A*S*H, whose 1994 eponymous debut EP earned the Welwyn GC boys a spot on Top of the Pops, will play as part of a cracking line-up at The Kings Arms, Hitchin this weekend.

Joining them in the courtyard on Saturday for an-electric show will be Coloryde, The White Line Diaries, The Scallywags and Walter J Wallis – whose Wildman Uke act has to be heard to be believed.

On Sunday things mellow with an all-acoustic session featuring James Bay, Jordan Bradley, Phil Storey, Richard McFerran and James Maple.

The music starts on both days at about 5pm, and entry is free – but it’s a charity event for The Lymphoma Association, so put some dosh in the buckets going round.
