THE “king of controversial comedy” is coming to Stevenage this week after his show earlier in the year was rescheduled.
Complete with his trademark flying helmet and a multi-coloured suit, Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown will be entertaining a Gordon Craig Theatre audience on Friday night.
The show was due to be held earlier this summer but the comedian has slotted a new Stevenage date in for this wek, having toured the UK every week of every year for the past 30 years.
Not for the faint hearted, expect some lewd and crude gags which have never made it onto TV.
Promoter Stuart Littlewood said: “Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown is crowned king of controversial comedy. In the past 30 years he has made over 1,000 appearances and performed in front of 1.5 million fans.
“With Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown you never know what will happen next.
“His shows are guaranteed to be loud, lively and above all entertaining.”
Tickets for the show, suitable for those 18 and over, are priced at £21.
