GOT nothing planned for Valentine’s Day? Irish singer and actress Rose-Marie will be appearing on stage at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar on Thursday, February 14 at 2pm.
The concert will showcase material from Rose-Marie’s poignant new album of Mother’s Day songs, Songs for My Mother, which comes out on February 25.
To date, the singer has sold more than 15 million records worldwide and her new release on Empire Records includes 18 tracks, including My Mother’s Eyes, My Yiddish Mama, This Is My Mother’s Day, The Sunshine Of Your Smile and So Lucky.
“There is nothing more important than the love of a mother. My new album is dedicated to my Mammy and all the mothers in the world,” said Rose-Marie, who performed in Bill Kenwright’s Blood Brothers and played the role of Barbara Cassidy in the musical The Eva Cassidy Story.
Having recently returned to the UK after headlining a tour in America, where she won an award for best new singer/entertainer in Las Vegas, she will be appearing with a live band and special guests at the Wyllyotts.
Tickets cost £11.
