ORGANISERS of Rhythms of the World are exploring “a number of options” for the Hertfordshire music festival which was made homeless last week.
The crowd at the BBC Introducing stage this yearThe RotW committee will meet next week to discuss future locations for the world music event after being told it could no longer take place at Hitchin Priory.
The wet conditions at this summer’s two-day festival in July turned the grounds into a mudbath – a decisive factor in the move by Priory owners Chartridge to pull the plug after five years of hosting.
Festival organiser Cath Cole was tight-lipped but upbeat about the situation.

“We will discuss these at the meeting early next week.”
