Rhythms of the World 2013 festival fundraiser tickets on sale

TICKETS for a Rhythms of the World 2013 fundraiser are on sale at various venues across north Hertfordshire.

The Hitchin-based festival of world music and arts will take place on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at a venue still to be confirmed.

A ROTW fundraiser featuring DJ Derek, Blunt Beats Crew and VJ Tim Star will take place at Club 85 in Whinbush Lane, Hitchin, on Friday, February 8.

Tickets are now available from Jolly Brown and Bar 85, in Hitchin, and David’s Music in Letchworth.

They cost £6 in advance and £8 on the night.

The ROTW festival was held in the grounds of Hitchin Priory last summer, but will be held at a new site this year.

Chartridge Conference Company, which owns Hitchin Priory, has decided that they are no longer able to hold festivals in the grounds for business reasons.

The extremely wet weather before and during the 2012 festival played a key part in the decision.
