TICKETS for Reading and Leeds Festival 2014 go on sale this week.
The annual music festival, held at Reading and Yorkshire sister site Leeds, took place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with Green Day, Biffy Clyro and Eminem headlining.
And organisers today (Monday) confirmed that a limited number of weekend and early entry tickets for 2014 will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9am.
Tickets for next summer’s three-day event will be available at 2013 prices – and with no booking fee.
On Twitter, Reading & Leeds Festival (@OfficialRandL) tweeted this evening: “Get 2014 TICKETS at 2013 PRICES with NO BOOKING FEE. Limited number of 2014 Weekend and Early Entry tickets on sale tomorrow from 9am!”
The festival’s official website also states: “We’ve got a limited number of weekend and early entry tickets and lockers on sale from Tuesday 27th Aug at 9am. Plus car parking passes will also go on sale.
“You saw what Reading 2013 served up...2014 promises to be even bigger. What are you waiting for?! GET YOU TICKET NOW!”
As well as the three main stage headliners, the Reading and Leeds line-up also included System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Chase and Status, Foals and Frank Turner, the latter fresh from his triumphant warm-up gig at The Forum in Hatfield.
St Albans post-hardcore heroes Enter Shikari also performed as their electronic alter-ego, Shikari Sound System, and there were appearances on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage from the likes of Skrillex, Alt-J, Jake Bugg, Bastille and Imagine Dragons.
