Thousands of runners will be raising cash for a cancer charity in Welwyn Garden City today (Sunday).

A bumper turnout is expected for Welwyn Hatfield’s annual Race for Life event, in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The race will be held around Stanborough Park, in Welwyn Garden City.

There will also be a number of stalls, with face painting, catering and merchandise on sale to raise much-needed cash.

The race starts at 11am.
