More names have been added to the Wireless Festival 2014 line-up for London and Birmingham this summer.

The three-day music event returns this year at two venues from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6.

Headlined by heavyweights Kayne West, Drake and Bruno Mars, the festival will take place for the first time at London’s Finsbury Park, just a few stops down the Great Northern railway line from Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, and at Perry Park in Birmingham.

Promoters Live Nation yesterday (Tuesday) announced a host of new acts confirmed to play across the Wireless Festival weekend.

Added to the 2014 line-up were the likes of J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Knife Party, B.o.B, Bleachers, Giorgio Moroder, Foxes, A Great Big World, Joel Compass, Vic Mensa, Raleigh Ritchie, Kwabs, Jess Glynne, Becky Hill, G-Eazy, YG, Sage The Gemini and Dominique Young Unique.

Last month organisers confirmed Kanye West, Drake and Bruno Mars as the three headliners.

OutKast, Pharrell Williams, Rudimental, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, John Newman, Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, Pretty Lights, Chance The Rapper, Ella Eyre, Angel Haze, Salt-N-Pepa, Clean Bandit, Earl Sweatshirt, A$AP Ferg and Neon Jungle are also on the bill.

Entering its 10th consecutive year, Wireless Festival promoter Steve Homer, from Live Nation, said at the time: “We are delighted to be welcoming back Drake and Kanye West as headliners and thrilled to secure Bruno Mars for his first UK festival headline performance.

“They are perfect for Wireless Festival, securing these three artists plus many more world class acts continues to cement our reputation as a world class leader on the festival circuit.”

In the confirmed day splits, Kayne West will play London on Friday, July 4 and Birmingham on Sunday, July 6, with Pharrell Williams also on the bill.

Drake will headline Finsbury Park on Saturday, July 5, a day after appearing at Perry Park, with support from Rudimental.

Bruno Mars will bring the festival to a close in London on the Sunday night, after playing Birmingham the day before, with OutKast also appearing.

Tickets for Wireless in London are on sale now, costing £65 per day, plus booking fee.

Early bird tickets for Birmingham are available at £62.50 plus booking fee, and early bird three-day tickets cost £160 plus booking fee.
