V Festival


V Festival 2014 takes place in under a fortnight’s time and here is the latest festival line-up.

Headlined by American superstar Justin Timberlake and Mr Brightside Las Vegas rockers The Killers, the twin-sited festival returns to Hylands Park, near Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park, in Staffordshire, over the weekend of Saturday, August 16 to Sunday, August 17.

The likes of Sing chart-topper Ed Sheeran, Example, Bastille, Elbow, Paolo Nutini, Lily Allen, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Alesso, Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah, Embrace, Manic Street Preachers and Blondie will also be appearing over the weekend at the Virgin Media backed event.

Goldie Lookin Chain have also been added to the bill.

V Festival 2014 set times have not been announced yet.

The line-up performing at Chelmsford on the Saturday will appear at Weston Park the following day, and vice-versa.

Thieves stole cash after breaking into a Royston shop in Church Lane.

Thieves broke into the shed through the roof.

Offenders broke into a victim’s shed by removing part of the roof before making off with tools in Foxton.
