Day tickets for Standon Calling 2014 have gone on sale and the Hertfordshire music festival’s stage line-ups have also been announced.

Standon Calling’s theme for 2014 is ‘Lost in Latin America’. Revolutionaries, Aztec ruins, Amazonian rainforests and more will be woven into the look and feel of the festival culminating in a Saturday carnival, as ever, with prizes being award to the best costumes.

Hip-hop legends Public Enemy, indie rockers Maximo Park and folk-punk troubadour Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will headline the fun-filled festival in the Hertfordshire countryside near Ware.

Organisers have now confirmed the stage line-ups for the three days, with more acts and The Cowshed days splits to be confirmed.

Standon bosses are also offering day tickets to the festival at just £50 for Friday, August 1 and Sunday, August 3, and £60 for Saturday, August 2.

Frank Turner will headline the main stage on the opening Friday night, with Public Enemy topping the bill on the Saturday after Clean Bandit have also performed.

Maximo Park will close the main stage at Standon Lordship on the Sunday.

Shapeshifter and Charli XCX will appear in the Big Top on the Friday, and TOY on the Saturday.

Ella Eyre will be the main attraction in the Big Top on the closing day before a late-night appearance from Grandmaster Flash.
