The headliner for the 2014 University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball at Hatfield House has been announced.

Rizzle Kicks will play the Hatfield-based uni’s end-of-term party, which has been moved to the grounds of the Hertfordshire stately home this year.

The students’ 2014 Summer Ball will take place on Friday, May 16 from 7pm until 2am, followed by an after-show party back at The Forum Hertfordshire, in College Lane.

A status update on The Forum Hertfordshire’s Facebook page read: “The Forum Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire Students’ Union are proud to announce the #HertsBall2014 headliner as Rizzle Kicks! Get your tix now”

The ball will be held in the Stable Yard at Hatfield House, with a large outdoor stage on the grass in front of the main house.

There will be the usual array of live music, DJs, a fun fair and other entertainment on offer, with more of the line-up announced over the coming weeks.

Tickets for the 18 plus University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball 2014 are on sale now priced £35.
