With the festival season well underway, the yearly quandary of how to dress for rain and shine at the same time is back.

But, to get you ready for spectaculars like V Festival and Standon Calling, here award-winning fashion bloggers Felicity and Lauren from Pretty Posh, Oh My Gosh! have teamed up with Virgin Media to help you pack your bags.

After watching the torrential downpours and glorious mud at Glasto, we want to be sure that when we’re checking out our favourite acts at the Virgin Media Our House stage, the Great British Weather doesn’t cramp – or dampen – our style!

Luckily, we have four wardrobe choices wrapped up which are perfect for your V Festival backpack.

Be grateful that it isn’t raining, but wind can seriously mess up your festival hair and sweep a chill across your perfectly planned August festival outfit. Your festival hairstyle will stay put with a beautiful hat like this one from ASOS - ASOS Braid Straw Fedora Hat £18, the perfect festival take on a winter staple, the fedora. If you aren’t a hat kind of girl, then scarves are huge this summer so grab one to fix your hair in place and keep it out of your face- we love the Accessorize Charlotte Bando, £7, which is pre-tied to save you any fiddly re-tying whilst you party!

Rain is the most dreaded of all festival weather situations, and wellies and a good rain mac are a 100 per cent must.

But don’t let this rain on your fashion parade, just plan ahead so you can party on in style.

ASOS have the most incredible collection of rain macs, we love the Cocoon Rain Mac with Blue Sport Stripes £40.

It’s perfect for channelling the sports luxe trend, whilst the transparent material still highlights your carefully planned festival outfit- win!

For fabulous wellies to dance around in the mud in, we love Joules.

The Joules Posh Welly in Blue £69.95, is the perfect investment to brighten up any rainy day!

For those who aren’t in for a full leg welly, the Chelsea Welly Boot is the perfect style to keep your feet dry.

New Look Coral and Black Chelsea Welly £15.99, add the ideal colour pop to your festival outfit.

Don’t forget to wear your wellies to the festival- you’re gonna need that coveted backpack space!

Hurrah, glorious sunshine at V Festival! Whether you’re partying at the Virgin Media Our House stage or lucky enough to be chilling in the luxurious Virgin Media Louder Lounge, make sure you have some bang on trend detailed sunnies to wear. The Milly Curved Arm Sunglasses £6, are the perfect replica of those that graced the Prada catwalk or alternatively, invest in a plain pair and get customising with flowers, pearls, sequins and glitter to ensure that your eyes have their signature look at V! Meanwhile ensure your feet look their best in some shimmery summer sandals. We love the flatform sandals from Clarks, their Romantic moon collection £49.99 comes in an array of colours- we love silver and white to compliment every sunny day outfit choice!

No one does a chilly British festival look better than Topshop, and we love their Morrocon Border Print Shirt Dress £42 for keeping your arms covered and the chills away
