Pink Floyd fans can experience a top tribute to the band in Hertfordshire next month.

Lovers of Pink Floyd’s music are in for a treat on Friday, February 28 when Watford Colosseum plays host to one of the UK’s top tribute bands.

The UK Pink Floyd Experience will perform classic songs from seminal album Dark Side of The Moon through to Division Bell, replicating the line-up of the full live Pink Floyd touring band of the late 80s and 90s.

With state-of-the-art sound and a spectacular light show, the aim is to perfect the atmosphere of the great Pink Floyd in concert.

Songs from Dark Side of The Moon through to Division Bell are featured, so fans of all ages will find something from their era.

The nine band members are all seasoned musicians and include a choreographed and costumed three girl backing vocal section.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Paul Andrews fronts the band and has a voice that is remarkably similar to David Gilmour’s.

He has worked hard to perfect his vocal delivery, aiming to replicate every nuance and intonation used by Mr Gilmour. Needless to say, he can play guitar a bit too!

Paul is joined by David Power on bass and Mike Bollard on second guitar.

The three girl backing vocal section is made up of Louise Beadle, an established theatre performer in her own right, Marie McNally, who also doubles on baritone and tenor saxophones, and Lindsay Martin, who has taken advanced vocals lessons from no less than original Pink Floyd P.U.L.S.E. tour veteran Sam Brown.

James Archer is on drums and percussion holding down the Pink Floyd groove.

The band is completed by Dave Woodfield on piano and keyboards, and founder member Neil Smallman on Hammond organ and keyboards.

Tickets for the concert cost £21, plus a £1.50 per ticket booking fee, capped at six per order.

Visit www.watfordcolosseum.co.uk for more information and to book online 24 hours a day.

Tickets can also be purchased by calling 0845 075 3993, or visiting the Watford Colosseum ticket office.
