Tickets for this summer’s Eastern Electrics music festival in Hatfield are selling fast.

(A VIP ticket ensures fast-track entry, a dedicated VIP area with exclusive DJ sets, chill out area, bar and boutique food stalls.)

The underground house and techno extravaganza moves to Hatfield House this year from nearby Knebworth Park.

And revellers have already snapped up more than half the tickets for the all-day party in Hatfield Park on Saturday, August 2.

A statement from festival organisers said: “Tickets have only been on sale for EE 2014 for four weeks and already half the allocation of tickets have sold out.

“If you were there last year, you will know why.”

Tickets priced at £29.50 and £39.50 have all gone, and the latest batch are now available for £49.50.

When these have sold out, the final allocation at £59.50 will be released.

A new special VVIP package, priced £99, has also been introduced this summer offering priority access to the festival site in the Hertfordshire countryside, exclusive access to the EE VIP area, cocktail bar and boutique food offering, free entry to the official Eastern Electrics after-party (worth up to £30), £25 worth of drinks vouchers and a free souvenir EE lanyard.

EE promoters added: “With a heatwave predicted for the summer, who wouldn’t want to spend the day raving in the spectacular site in the heart of the English countryside, which is still only 20 minutes from London?

“If you don’t want to miss out this year, then don’t hang around. Tickets will soon go up by another £10 when they hit the final tier and the last few tickets.”
