The owner of a Royston Indian restaurant said he is excited about throwing the first Bollywood-themed fundraiser in the town on Friday.

The evening, hosted by Royston Tandoori, is in aid of the Mayor’s Community Trust Fund which supports charities in the area.

Safwaan Choudhury said: “I am extremely excited to be hosting Royston’s first ever Bollywood Night to raise funds for the Royston Town Mayor’s Community Trust Fund.”

There will be a champagne reception, award-winning three course Indian meal, a licenced bar, Bollywood dancers, entertainment throughout the evening and a henna tattoo artist.

“My guests are promised one of the most spectacular evenings of South Asian entertainment and cuisine – there are also prizes for best Indian or Bollywood outfit.”
