THE Military Wives marched to the top of the UK charts in 2011, claiming the coveted Christmas number one spot with single Wherever You Are.
The Forces’ wives knocked X Factor winners Little Mix off the top spot with the fastest-selling single of the year.
There are now approximately 75 Military Wives choirs throughout the UK, Germany, Cyprus and the Falklands, which are either established or being developed under the guidance of The Military Wives Foundation.
And on Sunday at 7.30pm, the Chicksands Military Wives Choir will be performing at the Alban Arena in St Albans.
They will be back by 18-piece big band The Good Guys Orchestra. The evening will also feature the Bhangra Dancers of 1846 Squadron RAF Southall Air Cadets.
Tickets cost £19.50. Call the box office on 01727 844488 or book online at www.alban-arena.co.uk
