Richie Hawtin will headline the Eastern Electrics 2013 Festival at Knebworth House

THE main headliner for an electronic music festival set for Knebworth Park this summer has been announced.
Electro pioneer Richie Hawtin will be the special guest at Eastern Electrics Festival 2013 in the grounds of Knebworth House.
Presenting the finest underground house and techno sounds on the planet, the three-day dance event takes place from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 4, with Hawtin topping the bill at the Hertfordshire stately home on the Saturday night.
A festival statement said: “Eastern Electrics are both honoured and thrilled to welcome one of electronic music’s true pioneers to Knebworth this August.
“Richie Hawtin is a leader and visionary in the truest sense, whose name and reputation have traversed far beyond the realms of techno to invigorate and inspire an entire generation of electronic music lovers the world over.”
Organisers of EE2013 added a further 10 acts to the line-up today (Tuesday), including house music maestro Kerri Chandler, Jackmaster, Kyle Hall, Chez Damier, Gerd and Matt Tolfrey.
The daily schedule for the Eastern Electrics weekend has also now been revealed, with full day splits.
Day tickets from £30 and two-day camping passes from £70 are now available from Eastern Electrics at www.easternelectrics.com and www.easternelectricsfestival.com
A limited number of full weekend camping tickets costing £115 are still on sale.
Standard camping tickets will be £145 plus booking fee.
