Jefferson Starship will perform live at Hertford Corn Exchange next month.
If you missed Jefferson Starship’s 40th anniversary tour show in St Albans, there is another chance to see the American rockers in Hertford next weekend.
Featuring songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Paul Kantner and fellow original member, vocalist David Freiberg, the band will finish their short UK tour at Hertford Corn Exchange on Sunday, February 2.
Having performed tracks from albums Dragonfly and Red Octopus at the Alban Arena earlier this month, this will be a rare chance to see the group in action in such an intimate venue.
Joolz Addison, from the Fore Street venue, said: “We have exactly the same show that was seen at the Alban Arena.
“Fans will not be able to get any closer than they will here at the Corn Exchange. This really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Support will come from local talent Paul Booth.
Joolz added: “We are proud to be able to make many musicians’ dreams come true by giving them a slot on the same stage as their idols.
“Bands who have been given these support opportunities have often gone on to bigger things, so we feel proud to have given them the exposure and be part of their success.”
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets for the gig cost £17.50.
