The third main stage headliner for the 2014 Isle of Wight Festival will be announced tomorrow (Monday).
The rock music festival returns to Seaclose Park, in Newport, from June 12 to June 15.
Organisers have already confirmed two heavyweight bands who have previously played at Knebworth for the Isle of Wight 2014 line-up.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline IOW2014 on the Saturday night with their first UK performance since playing huge outdoor shows at Knebworth and Sunderland in the summer of 2012.
The By The Way rockers were added to the bill on Thursday.
The Isle of Wight Festival’s official Twitter handle, @IsleOfWightFest, tweeted on Friday: “If you loved yesterday’s announcement guess what, we have ANOTHER one for you on Monday!”
RHCP join previously announced Friday night main stage headliners Biffy Clyro. The anthemic Scottish rock trio played Knebworth Park in 2011.
Scottish dance superstar Calvin Harris has also been confirmed for Isle of Wight’s Friday night, along with electronic outfit Rudimental live as special guests.
Also playing the festival across the weekend are The Waterboys, Passenger and The 1975.
Monday’s announcement will include the Sunday night headliner and other acts.
