A man from Hatfield is set to become a star of the small screen when he appears on television tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

Train driver Steve James features in an episode of the 10-part fly-on-the-wall documentary series All Aboard: East Coast Trains.

The fourth episode, entitle Not Your Regular 9 to 5, will broadcast at 8pm on Sky 1 HD and shows Steve sharing his love for the job and what it entails.

Steve said: “I love my job, and have really enjoyed taking part in the documentary. As well as being on national TV, people will get the chance to see behind the scenes at East Coast, and the effort put in to ensure our passengers’ journeys go smoothly.”

The series was filmed over three months earlier in the year, and colleagues and customers from East Coast feature in the 10 episodes.
