ARTWORK by a Hatfield artist, first displayed as part of the Hatfest festival last month, will remain on display for the public to view.
Artist Fiona Chaney, of Crawford Road, exhibited work at Hatfield House during the art and culture festival, and has been allowed to carry on showing her paintings at the stately home.
Fiona, who has lived in the town for 30 years, is very pleased visitors will get to see her work on show.
The 60-year-old said: “I think it is absolutely quintessential that the work is on display in the place that I live.
“I think it inspires more people and helps to push for more arts and culture, and I just want people to show that they can do it, too.”
Works on show feature a mix of abstracts and landscapes, as well as ink designs created with a flurry of brush and knife strokes.
The exhibition, named Surface, is ongoing and can be found above the Stable Yard restaurant in Hatfield House Stable Yard.
