Yorkshire’s soulful folk singing star Kate Rusby last played the festival in 2009 and recently marked her 20th year in the music industry with latest album Twenty, while it will be folk favourites Oysterband’s first appearance in the Queen Elizabeth Oak Field.
Duo Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts, contemporary Scottish folk three-piece Lau and festival patron Jim Moray have also been confirmed for the music event taking place on Sunday, July 21 – the day after the traditional Battle Proms classical picnic concert.
