ONE of the largest free firework displays in Hertfordshire for Bonfire Night 2012 will take place in Watford.
Cassiobury Park’s annual fireworks and bonfire will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
Organised by Watford Borough Council with the support of the Lions Club of Watford, the event starts at 6pm, with a children’s fireworks display at 6.15pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the main fireworks – an 18-minute display – will commence at 7.30pm.
There are no ground level fireworks in the main display. All fireworks will reach a minimum of 100 feet, with the best view from within the main event arena between the stage and the bonfire.
No fireworks or sparklers are allowed in the park
Parking restrictions will be in place on the south side of Cassiobury Park from 7am to 11pm to enable emergency vehicle access to the event.
Although free of charge, organisers ask for a donation towards the cost of putting on the display and towards supporting local charities.
