ONE of Hertfordshire’s largest explosions of pyrotechnics in 2012 will be seen above Verulamium Park in St Albans for Bonfire Night.
Organised by the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans, the annual St Albans Fireworks Spectacular will take place two days before Guy Fawkes’ Night on Saturday, November 3 in aid of local charities.
Fantastic Fireworks of Redbourn – the company behind last September’s magnificent Hatfield House fireworks extravaganza – is once again putting on the St Albans show.
Gates to the park open at 6pm and the display will start around 7.30pm, with more than 10,000 expected to attend, depending on the weather.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children and senior citizens.
A family ticket for two adults and two children under 16 costs £10.
Tickets are available in advance from the Alban Arena box office on 01727 844488 or via www.alban-arena.co.uk, online booking fee applies.
