Firework displays 2012: Letchworth, Hertfordshire

THERE are two major firework displays set to light up the Letchworth sky for Bonfire Night this year.

Letchworth Garden City Rugby Club will stage its fireworks extravaganza this Saturday from 6.30pm.

Tickets for the Legends Lane display cost £5 for adults, £3 children and £10 for a family of four.

As well as the fireworks, there will be a barbecue, bar and a DJ in the clubhouse until late.

The fireworks fun takes place at the Hertfordshire FA County Ground, in Baldock Road, the following day.

Doors to the Letchworth Garden City and Baldock Lions Club charity display open from 5.30pm on Sunday, November 4 for a 7pm start.

Now in its 28th year, tickets costs £3.50 in advance for adults and £2 for under-16s. It’s £5 on the night for adults and £2.50 for under-16s.

There is a 3,000 limit on attendance, so pre-booking is advised.

Tickets can be purchased from David’s Music Shop, Eastcheap, in Letchworth GC.

Money raised from the night will go to the Garden House Hospice and Keech Hospice Care for Children.
