Film critic Barry Norman will reveal his favourite films at The Weston Auditorium on the de Havilland Campus of the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield

AS movie fans wait to discover the 2013 Oscars winners tonight (Sunday), cinema lovers in Hatfield will have a chance to see celebrated film critic Barry Norman next month.
BARRY Norman entertained TV viewers on BBC for 26 years in Film 72 to Film 98.
Now Britain’s favourite film reviewer will be entertaining audiences at The Weston Auditorium in Hatfield with tales from his years of watching movies for the BBC.
A household name, Barry, who lives in Datchworth, is rightly regarded as the nation’s foremost authority on 20th century cinema.
At a very special event on the University of Hertfordshire’s de Havilland Campus he will share some of his favourite movie moment and talk about the many stars of the silver screen he has met, interviewed and admired.
This is a unique opportunity for cinema lovers to meet the man with so many great stories to tell about his favourite films, including Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Dirty Harry and various Academy Award winners.
After the performance, Barry will also be available for a book signing.
Barry Norman’s Favourite Films takes place at The Weston Auditorium, in Hatfield, on Wednesday, March 13 at 7.30pm.
