Boogie Nights – The 70s Musical in Concert takes to the Gordon Craig stage for one night only tomorrow (Thursday).
The show features a host of big names, including The Osmonds, Gareth Gates, ex-EastEnders star Louisa Lytton and Chico, who won a new set of fans after appearing on Dancing On Ice last year.
Boogie Nights was the West End’s original jukebox musical, conceived by Jon Conway and Shane Richie back in 1997, and followed the hilarious and heartwarming story of Roddy O’Neil.
The show features a fantastic evening’s entertainment of live music, multi-media and no less than 70 hit songs from the disco era.
And this new remixed touring production stars Shane Ritchie Junior, in the role created by his father.
But it is the appearance of special guests The Osmonds which is the real coup for the Stevenage theatre.
Long Haired Lover from Liverpool Jimmy Osmond will be joined on stage by brothers Merrill and Jay. They will perform not just their own hits, such as Crazy Horses and number one smash Love Me For A Reason, but also a range of classic singles.
Jimmy Osmond first appeared in the award-winning Boogie Nights in 2004. He said: “I’m thrilled to once again be a part of the amazing energy of this great show.
“My brothers, Merrill and Jay and I had so much fun on our 2012 record-breaking tour, I’m excited they have agreed to join in on the fun and continue the party.
“They are really looking forward to doing a little something different than our usual concert appearances.”
The cast also features West End star Gareth Gates as heartthrob Dean, who will be covering If You Leave Me Now, Disco Inferno and Donny Osmond hit Puppy Love.
Former Strictly Come Dancing favourite Louisa Lytton, who played Ruby in EastEnders and PC Beth Green in The Bill, makes her musical debut in the show. As Debs, she’ll belt out I Will Survive and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.
X Factor finalist Andy Abraham takes to the stage as tough guy soul singer Spencer to perform Barry White classics such as You’re My First, My Last, My Everything, while Chico will bring his energetic dance moves to hits such as Le Freak.
The party also features hits Blame It on the Boogie, We Are Family and Boogie Wonderland.
Tickets cost £36.50, £33.50 and £30.50.
