Organisers of the Donington Park event confirmed the latest additions tonight (Monday) via the festival’s official Twitter account @DownloadFest.

Bowling For Soup, Opeth, Black Label Society, Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Phil H. Anselmo and The Illegals, The BossHoss, Skid Row, Tesla, Bury Tomorrow, Danger Danger, Powerman 5000, Huntress, The Graveltones and Anti-Mortem will all play the festival in June.

They join previously announced headliners Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold, and the likes of Alter Bridge, Status Quo, Steel Panther and The Offspring on the festival poster.

On the latest recruits, Download promoter Andy Copping said: “This is shaping up to be the most diverse Download yet – a real tableau of the past, present and future of rock and metal.

“You can see that in our headliners – Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold – and in today’s announcement where we combine such renowned acts as Bowling for Soup and Opeth with newer acts like Bury Tomorrow.”

Download takes place from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15 and tickets are on sale now.
