SIX bands will go head to head at The Red Lion as it hosts the MMG Three Counties Battle of the Bands.
One of eight first round venues across Herts, Beds and Bucks, the Stevenage home of rock will see Decades Apart, Heretic’s Dream, Year Of The Fox, Folding Stars, Gekko and Turning Days battle it out on Friday September 28.
The winners by crowd vote on the night will progress to round two in October. The Red is a venue again on October 26.
Prizes for the eventual winners at a regional final in Milton Keynes in January include recording time, tours and festival dates.
