Mayor Annie met Orphan Annie when two rising stars of St Albans Operatic Society came face to face with the district’s first lady last Friday.

Operatic Society chairman, Shaun Phillips, said: “It’s fantastic that we have the Mayor’s support in our production and we hope she enjoys the show. These girls are both incredibly talented, and are a joy to work with. They have both worked really hard in rehearsals over the past few months.”
