Aled Jones will bring his new show to Hertfordshire later this year.
Singer, actor, author, broadcaster, TV presenter, musical theatre performer and part-time dancer – Aled Jones MBE has packed a lot into his career so far.
Perhaps still best known for single Walking in the Air from The Snowman, Aled invites you to spend a sensational evening with him in Watford, Hertfordshire.
Watford Colosseum plays host to the much-loved singer and broadcaster’s new show, Songs of Hope and Inspiration, on Friday, October 10.
Accompanied by world class musicians, the evening will feature an eclectic mix of songs and stories from Aled’s time in the public eye.
Loved by the nation originally for his pure treble voice, Aled has recently celebrated more than 27 years as a household name.
Famous, of course, for song Walking in the Air from the animated film of Raymond Briggs’ 1978 children’s book, the Welshman had been a regular on Songs of Praise for more than 10 years and was also a presenter on Escape to the Country.
He also appeared in the second series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2004.
He presents Classic FM’s Sunday morning radio show and until recently was waking up the nation every weekday morning with Lorraine Kelly on Daybreak on ITV1.
As a singer, Aled has 29 albums to his name – selling more than 6.5 million to date.
