Litlington’s multiple European Top Fuel Bike champion drag racer Ian King has been in involved with the Channel 4 series ‘Speed with Guy Martin’.

The four-programme series sees Isle of Man TT motorcycle racer and mechanic Martin undertake a series of speed-based challenges, exploring the boundaries of physics and learning about the science of speed.

In episode four Martin attempts to sledge at 170mph down a mountain in Switzerland.

Utilising the synergies between steering a dragbike and a sledge, King advises and coaches Martin in how to run a Prostock Bike down the quarter-mile and in fitting and using a parachute system similar to that used on the Gulf Oil Dragracing motorcycle that King rides in competition.
