ROYSTON Veterans recorded an emphatic 8-0 victory over Gransden II at the weekend.

Royston coped well with the blustery conditions, and completed the eight sets in a near-record time of under two hours.

The second team were also convincing winners, travelling to St Neots and beating their hosts 7-1. Their next match sees them host Great Shelford IV on Sunday.

Both teams remain unbeaten this season, with four rounds of matches left to play.
