CHRIS Taylor will accompany Royston Golf Club's professional Sean Clark in the area final of the PGA National Pro Am at Old Fold Manor in May after winning the club's qualifier.

The 20 handicapper led the field with an impressive 40 points and should they win the area qualifier Taylor and Clark will jet off to the grand final in Turkey on an all expenses paid trip.

Stewart Hart continued his fine form to take the runners-up spot with 38 points while Gary Fortune and Frank Calvert tied for third.

Junior captain Michael Clapham won Division One of the men's medal with a fantastic nett 64. The nine handicapper recorded five bogeys but these were offset by two birdies, one on the final hole that now qualifies him for the medal winners' final in October.

In Division Two Simon Clark took the spoils while Jenny Jarvis and Val Squires lead the way in the Ladies Coronation foursomes with 38 points.
