GRENEWAY School claimed gold in the Year 7 and 8 sections of the North Hertfordshire School Swimming Championships.

And The Meridian School took bronze in the intermediate boys competition.

Between them Greneway and Meridian collected a host of medals and top six final finishes at the Hitchin-based competition.

The intermediate boys team were a creditable third. The successes once again showed the importance of the partnership between the schools and Royston Swimming Club, with most of the swimmers representing both, although both squads had been severely depleted by illness.
