Royston captain wins Putter competition

Royston Golf club’s senior captain John Kelly was victorious this week in the Captain’s Putter competition whilst the Senior Invitational was won by Phil Vince and Michael Bonner.

On Sunday the four ball better ball competition was won by Andrew Brooker and Glenn Bowles with 43 points. Bowles score doubled up with the third man in the four ball, Gary Noble, to secure second place with 41 points.

Four teams shared third. Those teams were made up of Mick Merry along with Charles Winter, Darren Dawson and Gary Fortune, Mark Bonnett and Clive Middlemass and Malcolm Hayes playing with Andrew Greville-Smith.
