Royston travelled to Basildon-based Bearbabies for their latest league match, and despite matching their hosts for the first two quarters, they eventually lost out 43-36.

Good defending from Jo Moxam, Emma Higton, and Jackie Huttlestone restricted the home side's shots on the net, and the first quarter ended 8-8.

And after the second period it was still all square, 15-15.

However, Bearbabies took control in the third quarter, despite the hard work of Tracy Stimpson, and raced into a nine- shot lead.

Royston reduced the deficit in the final quarter.
